GIS (Theory and Application)
We at Evologic provide comprehensive Online Training on
Geographical Information Systems with 100% recruitment success
since last 8 years.
Diploma in GIS course took approximate 220-240 Hrs along
with the real time project or Live Project. As Evologic is
engaged in to GIS services as well maximum time our students
gets an opportunity to work on live projects.
Evologic, build the students as per the industrial requirement.
We impart the training using the professional experience
and past project experience. Working on Real time or live
project makes our students more comfortable to start working
on the project day one in industry.
The basic concepts on GIS are very important when the candidate
select GIS as a career. Evologic create the finished product
to bridge the gap between educational system and industry.

Introduction
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer based
information system used to digitally represent and analyse
the geographic features present on the Earth' surface and
the events (non-spatial attributes linked to the geography
under study) that taking place on it. The meaning to represent
digitally is to convert analog (smooth line) into a digital
form.
"Every object present on the Earth can be geo-referenced",
is the fundamental key of associating any database to GIS.
Here, term 'database' is a collection of information about
things and their relationship to each other, and 'geo-referencing'
refers to the location of a layer or coverage in space defined
by the co-ordinate referencing system.
Work on GIS began in late 1950s, but first GIS software
came only in late 1970s from the lab of the ESRI. Canada
was the pioneer in the development of GIS as a result of
innovations dating back to early 1960s. Much of the credit
for the early development of GIS goes to Roger Tomilson.
Evolution of GIS has transformed and revolutionized the ways
in which planners, engineers, managers etc. conduct the database
management and analysis.
What is GIS? A geographic information system (GIS) integrates hardware,
software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and
displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. GIS allows us to view, understand, question,
interpret, and visualize data in many ways that reveal relationships,
patterns, and trends in the form of maps, globes, reports,
and charts.
A GIS helps you answer questions and solve problems by looking
at your data in a way that is quickly understood and easily
shared.
GIS technology can be integrated into any enterprise information
system framework. Geography Matters
Geography plays a role in nearly every decision we make.
Choosing sites, targeting market segments, planning distribution
networks, responding to emergencies, or redrawing country
boundaries—all of these problems involve questions
of geography. Note: Guest Lectures from the Experienced
GIS Professionals are always arranged at our training center. For more details contact us :- tushar@evologicsoftech.com or call us 9120-30287272, 73
